Description: Vigorous, twiner with young purple-brown stems and copper spring foliage maturing to glossy green. Reblooming clusters of long, thin tubular blooms with orange-red petals and yellow-orange throat in late spring and summer. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil. Requires support structure.

Planting Instructions:

  • dig hole twice the size of the pot
  • put in 1/2 cup to 1 cup bone meal mixed in with dirt
  • place tree into hole, fill in with dirt (ensure the graft site remains above the soil)
  • fertilize once a year in spring
