Description: Compact evergreen shrub with glossy green foliage for year-round interest. Small white blooms in late Spring mature to large, edible red fruit. The fruit is sour off of the plant, but goes well in preserves and desserts. Prefers a moist, acidic soil.
Height: 20 - 25cm (8 - 10 IN.)
Spread: 15 - 20cm (6 - 8 IN.)
Planting Instructions:
- dig hole twice the size of the pot
- put in 1/2 cup to 1 cup bone meal mixed in with dirt
- place tree into hole, fill in with dirt (ensure the graft site remains above the soil)
- fertilize once a year in spring
