Description: Very hardy with plentiful compact clusters of sweet, juicy, royal purple, seeded grapes which mature in early fall (earlier than V. riparia 'Beta'). Used for juice, jelly and wines. Large-space vine. Requires support structure. Self-pollinating. Prefers a moist, well-drained soil.

Planting Instructions:
- dig hole twice the size of the pot
- put in 1/2 cup to 1 cup bone meal mixed in with dirt
- place tree into hole, fill in with dirt (ensure the graft site remains above the soil)
- fertilize once a year in spring
